Artist Job has been announced by National School of Drama. The appointment shall be on contractual basis. Initially the appointment will be for one year, and may be extended up-to maximum of 5 years, only based on periodic assessment.

Pay Scale: 40,000 – 45,000 per month. In addition to normal entitlement, other benefits as permissible as applicable to the artiest of Repertory Co. and TIE Co. of NSD

Essential Qualification for Artist Job:

  1. Graduate of National School of Drama or a recognized Theater Training Institute or a degree/diploma in education/child development/psychology from a recognized institution or having long experience of acting, designing, composing music, writing and teaching or working with children in theater.
  2. Ability to relate to children

Preferable Qualification:

  1. Knowledge of Dance, Music and allied arts,
  2. Experience in direction of plays and stagecraft work.
  3. Experience of non-formal teaching.

Age Considering (as on 1st July, 2016): 20 – 30 years
