Qualification: The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Phd Courses have been given in the admission brochure.
Departments: Biotechnology and Medical Engineering (BM), Civil Engineering (CE), Chemical Engineering (CH), Ceramic Engineering (CR), Computer Science & Engineering (CS), Chemistry (CY), Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Life Science (LS), Mathematics (MA), Mechanical Engineering (ME), etc.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/-
The application fee has to be paid via Demand Draft in favor of Director, NIT, Rourkela payable at any bank in Rourkela.
The total fee for the 1st semester is Rs. 22, 500/- (Rs. 15,000/- in case of SC/ST).
Mess fee in advance has to be paid via demand draft in favour of “Chief Warden of Halls, NIT Rourkela” payable at any bank in Rourkela)
For remaining semester the approximate fee will be Rs. 38,000/- (Rs. 30,500/- for SC/ST) inclusive of mess fee.
