Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), New Delhi is calling applications for filling up of posts of Assistant.
The organization is looking to fill the Post of Assistant on deputation on Foreign Service terms initially for a period up to 31st march, 2016 in the following regional offices located at
- Bhopal (No. of vacancy: 01)
- Kolkatta & (No. of vacancy: 01)
- Bengaluru (No. of vacancy: 01)
The tenure of these offices at present is up-to 31-March-2016 and may be considered for extension if deemed necessary by the Authority.
TRAI Vacancy of Assistant have been exempted upto 23-May-2016 from the rule of immediate absorption by Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare for appointment of Central Government servants on deputation.

Name of the post: Assistant
Pay Scale: PB-1: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200/- (plus allowances such as DA, HRA etc. as per Govt. Rules)
Qualification/Experience for TRAI Vacancy: Officials of Central Govt. Ministries/Deptts, Central Public Sector Undertaking and Statutory and Autonomous bodies (i) holding equivalent post or (ii) ten years of service in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-4590 (pre-revised)/PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP 1900 (revised) with a working knowledge of computers.

TRAI has been established to regulate the telecommunications Services and to protect the interest of service providers and c tele-consumers of the telecom sector, to promote and ensure orderly growth of the telecom sector and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
